TA99W9: Very aerial group of complex crystals that have very well defined faces and edges. They are translucent and have an extraordinary deep blue color (electric blue) typical of the best samples from Milpillas. They have vivid reflections and transparencies under a strong light.

TR71AE7: Very aerial aggregate, on matrix, of thick lenticular crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with slight curvatures and a very intense luster, with transparencies on the edges and the famous rich blue color (“electric blue”) typical of the best samples from Milpillas. The Azurite crystals are partially coated by balls of fibrous Malachite that has a silky luster.

TD47V2: Esthetic group of sharp, flattened, crystals of Azurite with very well defined faces and edges. They are partially pseudomorphed by Malachite, but they conserve a lot of the pristine transparency and intensity of color of the Azurite.

TR96AH4: Very sharp flattened single translucent Azurite crystal with very well defined faces and edges, very bright with an extraordinary deep blue (electric blue) color typical of the best samples from Milpillas. The crystal is implanted on a rock matrix coated by acicular Brochantite crystals, rarely associated with Azurite.

BBR46AO5: Aggregate on matrix of elongated crystals of Brochantite that form groups of parallel growths, with good terminations, very sharp, with bright luster and a very deep color.
Due to their characteristics, in our opinion, they can be considered among the best known specimens for the species.

TL79AB4: A novelty at Tucson 2015. Fibrous Brochantite is very well known at the Milpillas mine but this sample has aggregates of elongated idiomorphic crystals, one of them clearly isolated and doubly terminated, with very well defined faces and edges and chisel like terminations. In our opinion, the world's best for the species for their definition, crystal size, as well as their color and luster and, in general, very high quality.

TA49AH5: Polycrystalline surface of crystals with the dominant octahedron, but also with the faces of the dodecahedron and the cube. The crystals are translucent, very bright with a vivid red color and are on matrix. Of the best quality for that mine.

The crystals, on a rocky matrix, are translucent and have a very deep red color that is partially masked by their extraordinary luster.

BBT94AO8: Druse with very sharp Cuprite crystals with the dominant octahedron and with smaller forms of the rhombododecahedron and the cube, translucent, with great luster and a bright red color. On matrix and with white fibrous aggregates of Dickite. With better color and luster than usual, it is of great quality for the locality.
It comes from an important European collection.

TR48AL5: A novelty at Tucson 2020. Groups of very sharp Olivenite crystals, many of them doubly terminated, with very well defined faces and edges and perfect terminal faces, transparent or translucent, bright and with a very deep olive-green color. On matrix with coatings of small yellowish-white botryoidal aggregates of Hydroniumjarosite. As in so many other occasions with Milpillas, among the best for the species.

EV67AC1: Volborthite was the new sensation in the Tucson Show 2015 as well as in Ste. Marie, but the number of them seems to be somewhat limited.
The Milpillas ones are without doubt the world's best for their luster, shape, good contrast with the white clay matrix and the crystal size of the best ones, so all together these are a new standard for this species. We are proud to offer this one which has a very reasonable balance quality / price.

XM145TC: Groups of Volborthite crystals with two different morphologies: acicular and flattened. The very lustrous and deep olive-green crystals sit on a Dickite matrix. Milpillas Volborthite specimens are considered the best of the species due to their quality, luster and crystal size, and set a new standard for the species.

Dioptase
 

TT93AL1: A novelty at Tucson 2019. Druze of small elongated Dioptase crystals, with rhombohedral terminations, transparent and with bright luster, on matrix with pale blue shattuckite. Dioptase is a rarity in Milpillas, another surprise like many to which this locality has accustomed us.
The sample has been noted and photographed in the monograph 'The Milpillas Mine' of the ‘Mineralogical Record‘ magazine on page 585 in the volume 52, number 5, September-October 2021 and in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 42 of the 2020/02 edition.

HM180TF: These Opals (variety hyalite) appeared for first time during the Tucson Show 2014. Botryoidal nodule very aesthetic and transparent, which shows fluorescence even in daylight, on matrix. In fact it fluoresces under almost any type of light: LED, fluorescent, daylight, and of course also with ultraviolet light. The only light with which they do not react is with incandescent bulbs.
